"Drs. Romano, Grossman, and Smithers office, this is Sharon speaking. How may I help you?" And so it has been since 1982 when I started working at the Summit Dental Group. Of course, back then it was Drs. Engel, Clark and Romano. I have always enjoyed working with the patients and staff in this practice, and that is why I am still here to this day, cheerfully scheduling patients and answering phone calls. As Dr. Romano will say, I just keep getting better with age. You can tell by the absence of my picture that I am shutter shy, but just stop by and I would be delighted to introduce myself in person. And by the way, it is true - I DO believe in angels!

Dr. Romano - Patient Care Coordinator
My name is Chrys. I never did like going to the dentist. In fact, truth be told, I still don't. However, I have found the perfect way to overcome my anxiety and fear, and that is by coming to the dentist every day! I have been employed by the Summit Dental Group, in particular for Dr. Romano, since 1996, as his Patient Care Coordinator. I truly enjoy what I do, and I am always happy to help our patients in any way possible.

Hi! My name is Alexandria, but you can call me Ally. Fresh out of Dental Assisting school, I found my dental home at Summit Dental Group. I work directly with Dr. Romano as a Dental Assistant. I love what I do and the people that surround me. I look forward to helping all of our awesome patients keep their smiles healthy! I believe a smile is worth a thousand words! Outside of work I enjoy being outside, gardening (I do all the flowers at the office), and spending time with friends and family. I can't wait to meet all of the great patients in the practice; you can often hear me singing in the halls!

Hi, I'm Peri, one of Dr. Romano's dental assistants. I have worked with Dr. Romano since 1990. I have two grown children; my son lives in Rochester with his wife, and my daughter lives in Cortland. My husband and I enjoy taking our classic cars to car shows during the spring and summer. We also enjoy going to Crunch games during hockey season. I also enjoy reading and making crafts.

Dr. Grossman - Office Manager
Hi, my name is Jessica and I have been working in the dental field since 2004. I started my career as a dental assistant, then began floating between assisting and the front desk. I truly found my niche as an office manager in 2010 when I started working for Dr. Grossman. In this position, I am able to utilize my extensive knowledge of dental procedures as well as front desk policies.
In my spare time I enjoy gardening, shopping, baking, and being outside. My husband and I have an adorable baby girl, who is the sunshine of our lives! During the fall and winter months we enjoy going to SU football and basketball games together, Go Orange!
I look forward to getting to know all of our patients here at the Summit Dental Group!

Hi! My name is Linda. I have been a Dental Assistant for 27 years. I have been working for Dr. Grossman for almost eight years now! Previously in the office I worked with Dr. Engel for seven years. It has been a great experience working with both doctors and all the “girls” here. I believe we provide the best high quality dentistry and care for our patients. The dental profession truly was the right choice for me.

Hi! My name is Jen and I’ve worked here for almost ten years now. I originally was interested in becoming a Dental Hygienist but discovered that Dental Assisting was the career for me. I am now certified and licensed in dental assisting. I also volunteer at BOCES training the new and upcoming Dental Assistants. I have worked in a few offices, and Summit Dental has been the best because of the professional and friendly staff and great Doctors.

Hi! My name is Kelly. I started my journey as a certified dental assistant by attending the Dental Assistant program at OCM BOCES in February of 2011. In June of 2011 I worked as an intern under Dr. Grossman and in August became part of the team. Before attending OCM BOCES I was a patient of Dr. Grossman’s. I was always pleased with the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the care, and now I can say that I am a certified dental assistant and glad to be part of such an awesome team!
When I am not working I enjoy rollerblading and spending time with my family and my two dogs.

Hello! My name is Lisa. I have been in the dental field for over 10 years now. I came to work for Summit Dental Group in 2011. Since then, he and now Dr. Grossman have given me the opportunity to advance in the field. I have become licensed in the State of New York and am grateful for Dr. Clark's help guiding me toward that achievement. I enjoy working with my coworkers and have met a lot of nice patients. It is a pleasure working at the Summit Dental Group. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and my dogs.

Hi! My name is Paige. I'm one of Dr. Smithers' Dental Assistants. Although I was born and raised in upstate NY, I moved to Pittsburgh in 2012, and there I discovered my love of dentistry. In 2016 I relocated back to NY and attended the BOCES Dental Assisting Program and I am now licensed in NYS. I am honored to be a part of the Summit Dental Group and I'm excited to continue to grow in this field!

Dental Hygienist - Dr. Smithers
I ‘m Amy and I’ve been employed here since September 1984. My interest in dentistry began in a Boy Scout Explorer post for people interested in dental careers. I began assisting full-time with Dr. Clark soon after completing the BOCES dental assisting program in high school. I went to college a couple of years later but was fortunate enough to still work here part-time. Just before graduation in 1989, the doctors offered me a full-time hygiene position.
Being one of the “old-timers,” I love that I’ve treated multiple generations of families. I try to treat everyone with a level of care and attention I would want to receive as a patient. I think the friendly, personal atmosphere here is just awesome, the quality of work provided is unsurpassed. I stay pretty busy outside the office with my husband, two daughters and crazy dog. I’ve been active in my professional association and I am a Girl Scout leader.

Hi! My name is Lori, I’m originally from Conneaut, OH and moved to Central NY when I was 15. I graduated from ESM and then attended Dental Hygiene school at SUNY OCC, graduating in 1990.
Being in Dental Hygiene for over 30 years, the most rewarding part of my job is getting to know my patients while helping them maintain excellent oral health.
I start most days at the gym before coming to the office, and enjoying walking my Golden Retriever “Lucy” in the evenings. I also enjoy baking, and spending time outdoors with my husband and 2 children.
